Hey guys,
There will be a meeting for Lunar in the auditorium January 16th, 2007. This is a mandatory meeting! Many things will be covered tomorrow. The are quite a number of things to do:
Second auditions: This concerns only the singers. Tomorrow will be your second cut. Mr. Hom, Kaitlin and Richie will be judging you. You need 2 votes to pass. Please have a burned copy of your song on a CD as well as your lyrics memorized. We hope that you have your lyrics memorized as you won't be using a lyric sheet when you're on stage. Please be sure to come. If you do not come, chances are we will cut you. If you have friends who might not read this make sure to tell them about it.
Martial arts: Tomorrow Richie will be busy with the auditions so if you have any questions go to Frank Wu or Dennis Tung. They will try their best to answer your questions.
Traditional Dance: Kaitlin will be busy with the auditions as well so Joyce Chan will be teaching you girls to do the dance. If any questions ask Joyce. Any further questions email LNYP back. Bring your fans back tomorrow!
Lion Dance: Johnathan Lee will be helping lion dancers so feel free to ask him questions.
Modern Dance: Your second auditions will be soon (sometime in the first week of February). Please have your routine close to finish/finished. The officers have felt that some of your dance moves are too sexual/ suggestive. Please change these dance moves or we will tell you to change them ourselves. ( i.e. grinding, bumping, etc)
Decorators: Kevin will be in charge of decorators again so questions will be answered by him.
There is also the matter of the program (the booklet we hand out to people during the performance that tells them who or what's being performed). If anyone feels like submitting artwork to put on the booklet feel free to give them to the officers. This will make our booklets look pretty and nice.
The performance is March 7th, 2007. It's coming fast guys so work hard and make sure to have fun!
